The Twisted Path..

( a progressive story in the making )

"One Man's Journey through the web of life.."

an autobiography

In brief, for those new to my world, I am a 44 year old man living in splendor, residing in Maine. I am a husband of 16 + years as of this posting, a father of three, and an owner of two dogs and two fish. I count the pets, as they are definitely every much a part of the family as I. There are a few things in my life that I enjoy and cherish and along with those come the negatives and the frustrations, as well as the many positives and elations. Here I will share my thoughts, images, and eclectic tribulations with all. For here I bear my soul in its rawest form. Hope you return again, and enjoy your visit to my little corner of the cyber world. Mind you there are surely parts of my life not included in these chapters so you are not gaining a full accounting of all my lifes events. That would just bore you to tears..lol. but you are getting the highlights of my life that have formed who I am today..so hopefully you aren't completely disapointed. I am trying my best to include the information as I recollect it, and to give you the overall understanding of my life as I see it through my mind. Please keep in mind I am neither an author, nor a writer in general, so do not expect professionalisms, correct spelling or grammatical correctness. I just have a great deal of history and words to say before my time here on earth is over. I will do my best to catch whatever mistakes I make, but give no guarantees. Please enjoy my story...

"I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived."
~ Henry David Thoreau ~...

I believe he said it best, and has been quoted numerous times.   When asked where and why he lived in the woods...
I have often myself thought why I keep getting draw to the wilderness. Why is the urge so strong at times throughout the year? Could it be the primitive instincts of mankind to experience the ultimate in life’s harshest environment, or is there a different connection to the great outdoors, one that needs no explanation at all. To just merely survive is easy, but to live deliberately among the wilds is a challenge in and of itself. To truly live and experience all that Mother Nature can give you, and to learn from your mistakes is a gift, the gift of life.  My life’s journey has taken many twists and turns down several eclectic paths and even taken a few detours. I hope to get a better understanding into my own life and its purpose via exploring my past and looking far into my future.
Join me in this journey, explore my world and take the many travels to destinations I have been on, and share the dreams I have for the future, even though unknown.
